We at Bagels By The Beach wish to honor the passing of one of our cherished members.
Mort S. had been sober since January 1st, 1985 and was a consistent and giving member of our meeting.
Over the years he has contributed to the health of our meeting and carried the message to many, many people who came to the program of recovery after him.
He was always willing to go to any lengths to carry a message of hope to the addict who was still suffering.
Mort's wry sense of humor was a testament to his understanding that we are not a glum lot.
He leaves this world with 8900 continuous days of clean and sober time.
Mort will be missed
